Sunday School at Parkwood Baptist Church

At Parkwood, our Sunday School program is designed to foster spiritual growth, community, and understanding of God's word for people of all ages. Each class is tailored to meet the needs of specific age groups and life stages, ensuring that everyone can find a place to belong and deepen their faith. Classes meet every Sunday at 9:45 AM, and we warmly invite you to be a part of our learning community. Whether you're new to faith or looking to deepen your understanding, our Sunday School classes provide a welcoming space for growth, fellowship, and learning.

We also offer coffee and light refreshments each morning before classes begin to give everyone a chance to connect and enjoy fellowship before diving into the study of God’s Word.

Available Sunday School Classes:

Nursery (Infants and Toddlers 2-3): Our nursery offers a nurturing environment where the youngest members of our church family are cared for by loving volunteers. Children are introduced to God’s love through songs, stories, and play, creating the foundation for their faith journey.
Preschool (Ages 4-5): In the preschool class, children explore God’s creation and begin learning the key stories of the Bible. Through crafts, songs, and interactive lessons, they are taught about God’s love and care for the world around them.
Children (Grades 1-5): Elementary-aged children dive into Bible stories and begin to understand how Scripture applies to their everyday lives. This class encourages children to develop a personal relationship with God through prayer, memory verses, and group discussions.
Youth (Grades 6-12): The Youth class provides a space for teens to engage with their faith and navigate life’s challenges through the lens of Scripture. Through open discussions, group activities, and Bible study, they are equipped to handle peer pressure, faith questions, and their own personal growth in Christ.
Young Adults (Disciple Makers): This class is designed for young adults who are eager to dive deep into discipleship and live out their faith in their daily lives. The class focuses on creating a solid Biblical foundation and understanding how to spread the gospel in everyday interactions.
Adults (Mission Minded): This class is perfect for adults who are passionate about missions - whether globally, or in everyday life. Through Bible study, discussions, and practical teaching, we aim to equip believers with the tools, knowledge, and spiritual support needed to share God's love in impactful ways.
Adults (Truth Seekers): For adults of all ages, this class is designed for those who seek to grow in their understanding of God’s Word. Participants will explore Scripture in-depth, focusing on applying Biblical truths to real-life situations, as well as encouraging one another through prayer and discussion.
Women's (Golden Girls): Golden Girls is a women’s class designed for those in later stages of life who are looking for fellowship, prayer, and spiritual growth. The class focuses on studying the Bible together and supporting one another through life's joys and challenges.
